Thomas F. Rafter, Jr., founding father of AESE, charter member, and lifetime honorary member, died April 26, 1996, at his home in Rockville, Maryland, of stomach cancer. The family suggests that expressions of sympathy be made in the form of a contribution to the American Cancer Society, the Rockville Animal Shelter, or the charity of one’s choice.
